About JC Writes JC Writes offers publishing assistance, in the form of writing, editing, proofreading, and statistical analysis. JC Writes is managed by James W. Corpening, Ph.D., who is our Principal Writer. Dr. Corpening is trained in behavioral neuroscience, pharmacology, psychopharmacology, psychology, and comparative animal behavior, but he is well versed in other life sciences. Dr. Corpening is also self-taught in the field of Information Technology. He builds his own computers, manages his three-computer network (100 Mbps Ethernet and wireless), and programs in several web and desktop languages.   Our writers have been or currently are college professors who teach courses such as neuroscience and physiology, biological bases of mental disorders, biology, and a variety of courses in psychology, such as abnormal psychology, perception, research methods, and statistics.
